Global Strategic Accounts Graduate Summer Intern

About the Program:
The Life Science Graduate Internship program is a 10-week experience designed to identify the next generation of talent at MilliporeSigma. This program provides a unique opportunity within one of our business units or capabilities (Research Solutions, Applied Solutions, Process Solutions, or Strategy and Business Development) to focus on a key, strategic business area within our Life Science sector.
 
Your Role:
We are seeking a highly innovative and motivated intern to add value to our Global Strategic Accounts organization. This role will be working directly with GSA Account Directors, GSA Scientific Team and Regional Account Managers to support the further expansion of MilliporeSigma presence within the global strategic accounts.
 
The immediate focus will be accelerating our presence on non-GMP Bulk at specific accounts, from early stage to late phase development. As an intern, you will assume the responsibility of taking on challenging projects and see them through from strategy to implementation. Training for this position will be on-the-job with experienced supervision and support.
 
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a graduate degree in Chemistry, Biology or other life science or engineering field
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership, project management, and business development skills coupled with the ability to work with global and remote teams
  • Prior experience or internships in life science, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry
  • Being a self-starting strategic thinker with demonstrated track record of success in developing strategy and working in a sales organization
  • Highly motivated graduate student with a proven track record of academic excellence and a desire to work in the Life Science industry.
