HandsOn VISTA: Million Dollar Teacher Project Member
Join the Million Dollar Teacher Project (MDTP) to help raise the recognition and retention of teacher in Title I schools, thus improving the quality of education for students! As a part of MDTP, and with guidance, you will create a strategy to improving partner relations with the aim of expanding engagement; develop strategies to strengthen teacher recognition activities; and build a framework for volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training and management. The successful applicant should be well organized, an independent self-starter who is excited to work in a small but growing non-profit, and motivated by improving education in low income communities. Knowledge, and or experience, in education and the issues facing teachers in Title I schools is desirable.
