About the Opportunity:
Amcor Rigid Packaging is seeking an intern/co-op that will commence in May 2021 and will give the selected student; a challenging project-based work experience, the opportunity to learn about Amcor Rigid Packaging business, the packaging industry, and receive mentorship from business leaders. This role will report to the Marketing Manager for the Home & Personal Care Segment and have significant exposure to our business and leadership teams.
Internship Assignments:
- Research home & personal care brands for top ten customers and update share of wallet
- Investigate Industrial packaging market to identify key sub-segments to target
- Develop market strategy to reach mid-tier brand owners including marketing analysis, packaging needs, and recommendations for market growth in mid-tier market
- Work with Sales team to determine Marketing Communications needs and develop sell sheets that Sales can share with customers
- Support Sales team with customer presentations, forecasting, and other sales-related activities
Basic Qualifications:
- Packaging, Marketing or Business Major (Preferred) – Junior/Senior
- 3.2 GPA or higher, cumulatively
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship now or in the future

- Strong analytical skills
- Interest or experience in strategy or corporate development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated/ability to work independently
- A continuous improvement and innovative mindset
