Marketing / Advertising Intern

The 712 Initiative is seeking a part time intern to assist with both online and traditional marketing campaigns. We are looking for someone to help tell the story of what makes the events and programs hosted by The 712 Initiative unique and interesting. Though traditional marketing and online storytelling we want to engage perspective patrons who will ultimately decide to participate in the community events that we produce. This person will report directly to the Director of Marketing & PR.

 

·         An awareness of events and happenings in the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro

·         An interest in social media, marketing, advertising

·         Proficiency with design software (Creative Suite and Canva)

·         Familiarity with social media scheduling 

·         Experience with event photography

·         Creative problem solving & outside the box thinking

·         An interest in video production for social media purposes

·         Experience with video editing software 

·         Reliable, responsible, and able to meet deadlines

·         Ability to work independently

·         High level of professionalism

·         Assist with the planning, strategy, and implementation of our marketing, advertising, and social media

·         Create deliverables for select marketing campaigns

·         Assist in creating reports and tracking analytics 

·         Create flyers for event promotion

·         Film and edit videos that highlight people and their businesses

·         Photograph and video events hosted by The 712 Initiative
