Emergency Bed Program Coordinator

The Emergency Bed Program Coordinator will provide intensive one-on-one case management services to nine young adults, 18-22, who are experiencing homelessness and residing in the Youth Opportunity Center Emergency Bed program. Duties will include admission of participants, informal and formal assessment of self-sufficiency needs, assisting participants in goal setting, providing individual assistance and guidance to participants while promoting self-efficacy. In addition, the Coordinator will provide crisis intervention and make referrals to appropriate agencies/individuals for services as needed. The Coordinator may take on youth advocate duties by supervising and caring for participants and potential participants during assigned hours as needed. 

A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field is required. 

One year of experience in programs which serve youth in addition to some supervisory or leadership experience is required.
