Cybersecurity/ Information Security Internship
Intern with our IT Security Department Group in Tinley Park, Illinois.
The Information Security Department protects Panduit information technology assets and respond to any information security incidents.
We are a relatively new dedicated department. We advise other internal IT groups on best practices. Document standards and procedures concerning the Information Security practice.
Our primary focus is enterprise or traditional IT. As Panduit is a technology manufacturer, we also advise our Operational Technology units on how best to secure their shop floor environments.
Projects you will be working on include:
Expand Vulnerability Management:
- Under the supervision and close cooperation of other IT members, communicate, conduct, and analyze vulnerability scans.
- Make recommendations on how to reduce risk of these vulnerabilities
Secure Configuration of End-User Devices –
End User Devices, such as Laptops, Tablets, Desktops, have a base configuration applied by policies.
- Under the supervision of the InfoSec Department, evaluate the current security configuration of various end-user devices.
- Use industry-based benchmarks to improve the baseline configuration.
- Work with other IT groups to implement these benchmarks in a sustainable fashion.

- Applicants should have knowledge or familiarity with Network Security and Vulnerability Management.
