As an Intern within the Information Security Governance and Regulatory Compliance (GRC) Team, you will work with a global team to enhance the organizations IT resiliency capabilities. You will work on a project that aligns the processes to maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) with the requirements of the disaster recovery and crisis management programs. You will design processes to streamline both the Resiliency Planning processes, as well as enhance our Incident and Crisis Response Management Processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Build processes and interfaces to rapidly on-board applications onto our business continuity and IT resiliency processes 
  • Build integrations to our Service Now CMDB to allow seamless management of data and information for business continuity and IT resiliency purposes
  • At the end of the Internship the goal is to:
  • Integrate the Enterprise CMDB schema and processes to support IT Resiliency Plans 
  • Validate that the Crisis and Disaster Resiliency (DR) Management plans can use the Enterprise CMDB for all their Systems Configuration information needs
  • Ensure that we can develop a DR Plan for any given application on the Risk Register
  • Deliver a Training Module that lays out the processes for constructing and testing IT DR Plans

Qualifications

 
Education & Experience
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or related field with a focus on Cyber-Security and a graduation date on or after Dec 2021
  • Strong programming experience with Python or Java, SQL, MEAN stack, HTML5, CSS. Front end development experience using AngularJS or REACT is a plus
  • Understanding and familiarity with Tools like Web IDE, Eclipse, Databases
  • Should be knowledgeable on RESTful Web Services, and API integrations
  • Should be knowledgeable about the AWS ecosystem and services
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow environment would be beneficial
