As an Intern within the Information Security Vulnerability Management Team, you will work with a global team to enhance the organizations Vulnerability Testing capabilities. You will work on a project that will deliver an on-demand and automated execution of Vulnerability and Penetration Testing scans using Open Source toolkits and tailored to specific scenarios and use cases. In addition, the capability will be integrated with CI/CD Pipeline and be able to auto-scale as needed. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Build processes and interfaces to allow the engagement of the Vulnerability testing service
  • Work with Vulnerability testing team to build the scanning service to meet the requirements of the business
  • At the end of this internship the goal is to:
  • Be able to execute scans as needed, on demand, using an automation toolkit
  • Integrate Vulnerability and Pen Testing into the SDLC
  • Leverage Open Source tools (Kali Linux, MetaSploit, Sn1per etc), 
  • Ensure that the automation can be tailored for Infrastructure, Web Applications, or Network Pen testing
  • Develop the metrics required to measure the effectiveness of the Pen testing
  • Deliver a Training Module that lays out the processes for using these frameworks

Qualifications

 
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or related field with a focus on Cyber-Security and a graduation date on or after Dec 2021 
  • Strong programming experience with Python or Java, SQL, MEAN stack, HTML5, CSS. Front end development experience using AngularJS or REACT is a plus
  • Understanding and familiarity with Tools like Web IDE, Eclipse, Databases
  • Should be knowledgeable on RESTful Web Services, and API integrations
  • Should be knowledgeable about the AWS ecosystem and services
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow environment would be beneficial
