Respiratory Therapy
Full Time, Nights/Weekends, 3-12hr shifts/week (6pm - 6am) Rotating weekends

Job Summary: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for performing age-specific assessments relevant to the patient's individual respiratory care needs, providing education, therapy and diagnostic services as ordered per physician, organizing care, and evaluating the effectiveness of treatments/care provided along with proper documentation. Cares for patients requiring oxygen therapy, respiratory treatments, and life support. Also performs ECG's, Holter and Event Monitor setups, Holter scanning, Pulmonary Function Testing, and EEG's. Participates with patient, family, and staff education as it relates to respiratory care, asthma awareness, and pulmonary disease management and also communicates with patient, family, nursing, and other healthcare team members for integration of care/services. The diagnostic RRT is expected to carry out the mission, vision, values, and quality commitment of FRHS to all internal and external customers.
Job Requirements:
State of Nebraska Respiratory Therapy license Registered as RRT with National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
BLS within 30 days
NRP, PALS, ACLS certification obtained within one year of employment
Prefer previous clinical experience
