Internship
Ours is no ordinary internship. The program offers a real-world work experience to college and voc-tech students who we consider valuable members of our team. During your internship, you will have day-to-day work assignments and project responsibility with real meaning.
We challenge you to bring your new ideas and perspectives to our team to develop innovative ways to better serve our customers. Doing so will allow you to apply the knowledge and skills you gained in the classroom and take back experience to set yourself apart from the competition in today’s
challenging job market.
Our Internship Program
Who is eligible to apply?
In general, we encourage applications from college (including community college and voc-tech) students who have an interest in pursuing a career in the electrical industry business.
The intern will experience the following areas:
- Inside Sales
- Counter Sales
- Outside Sales
- Shipping Department
- Receiving Department
- Warehouse Operations
- Lighting Design and Quotations
- Vendor Trainings
- Customer Trainings
- Administrative and Management Procedures
- Marketing
- Job Site Visits
These experiences will be performed at 3E’s corporate headquarters in Windsor Height, Iowa and at one of 3E’s branch locations mutually agreed upon by both the intern and 3E.
