Financial Controller

Peoples Community Health Clinic is a nonprofit community based Federally Qualified Health Center guided by its mission to provide access to affordable, compassionate, high quality health care for all.
 
This full-time position will work independently and assist the Chief Financial Officer with:
·      The accounting and reporting requirements of the clinic
·      Financial administration including payroll, general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, grant management and statistical reporting
 
Working in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate must be proactive, self-motivated, detail oriented, well organized, flexible, and have good time management skills with an ability to work with diverse groups of people.
 
Qualifications for this position include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, CPA preferred
  • Accounting and management experience required
  • Previous non-profit and/or health field experience preferred
  • Payroll experience is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills
  • A passion for teamwork, continuous improvement, and collaboration
