Financial/Business Analyst

Responsible for collecting, tracking, and analyzing company financials. Direct support to President and COO in preparing monthly financials and invoices. Works with respective Program Managers to support monthly financial status and develop cost sections for draft proposals. Work with Defense Contract Audit Agency to establish yearly approved rates and support audits as required.

This is a full time, in-office position in Los Angeles. Remote for early part of 2021, and some flexibility to work remotely afterwards. Training provided by company.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics
- Strong math, analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to operate in a detail-oriented and highly focused environment, with proven record to meet critical deadlines and handle a diverse workload
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Word, MS Power Point
- Familiar with accounting standards
- Able to work both independently and in groups, take initiative in problem solving, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel (3-6 times year)

Desired Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 5-6 years of related experience
- Familiarity with Quickbooks
- Knowledge of EVMS/FAR/DFARS and Government contracting
