Women in Technology Associate Forum

Forum Overview
The Wells Fargo Women in Technology Associate Virtual Forum is an exclusive two-day program designed to encourage and inspire women who have an interest in pursuing a career in Technology. A select group of high-performing students from diverse backgrounds will be invited to participate.

During the virtual forum, you will have the opportunity to learn from successful women in technology at Wells Fargo who will share their expertise and knowledge to help you become a future leader. You will develop an understanding of Wells Fargo’s unique values and culture, which you will experience first-hand in your interactions with highly talented team members. This is also an accelerated opportunity to interview with hiring managers for full time Associate positions across the Wells Fargo Technology platform.

Forum activities include:
  • Consideration for openings in the 2021 Technology Associate Program
  • Panel discussions with alumni from the Technology Program
  • Professional development workshop around Personal Branding, Team Building and Leadership
  • Seminar on Interview Preparation
  • Networking with Technology Leaders and Program Alumni
  • Presentation about Wells Fargo, Technology, and Career Paths
 
Forum Dates and Location:
  • Where: Virtual Conference
  • When: February 25th with interview day February 26th

Invitation and attendance at the conference does not guarantee an associate position placement. Interviews for the full time associate openings will take place the 2nd day, February 26th.

Associate Program Overview:
The strategically designed twelve-month program provides associates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experiences to succeed with Wells Fargo. While the program is 12 months, associates are full time, permanent team members from the beginning and will continue to be team members after completing the program. Program associates will benefit from a mentoring relationship, division and function specific training, team member engagement activities, and professional development opportunities.

The program also includes opportunities for associates to meet and network with executives, while also providing multiple open communication channels from both the line of business and program to help navigate through the program and the transition to corporate life. Associates will be involved in a community service project and an overall program project, all while developing business acumen and leadership skills. This program provides opportunities to be a part of a team that develops business solutions through innovation. Lastly, the program isn’t rotational, but is designed to expose participants to a variety of technology groups and functions, building a solid foundation to foster continuous learning in an ever-changing and expanding technology environment.

Associate Opportunities:
The 2021 associate program openings offers a variety of opportunities within our Business CIO teams, Technology Infrastructure, and Information Security. These businesses are at the heart of what enables Wells Fargo to satisfy everyone from global customers to team members by providing best-in-class security and tools to protect Wells Fargo data and strategic technology-based products, services, and governance. 

Our current openings will be in the following cities. You must be able to work out of one of the following cities to be considered for the program. 
  • Chandler, Arizona
  • Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Des Moines, Iowa
  • Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • San Francisco, CA
  • San Leandro, CA
  • Concord, CA
  • Fremont, CA

Application Instructions:
  • Open to all students who are currently completing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM related major such as (example Computer Science and Computer Engineering) and graduating between December 2020-June 2021
  • Cover letter not required, but accepted. If submitting a cover letter, please bundle with your resume into ONE document (Word or PDF), and upload in the Resume section of the application. 
  • If a cover letter is included, explain why you are interested in attending the Wells Fargo Women in Technology Intern Forum, highlighting qualities that make you a competitive candidate
  • Candidates invited to the forum will be contacted individually with additional information and details
