$51,667 Base salary after training
$50,523 Candidates are hired at
Equipment, Uniforms & Uniform Dry-cleaning provided
Annual $300 allowance for specialty footwear & all-weather gear
Annual Education Bonus for all degrees, up to $3000 Master's Degree
Patrol Officers work a twelve (12) hour shift with every other weekend off
Paid Vacation, Sick and Holiday Leave
Non-Competitive Promotion(s) to Police Officer First Class & Senior Police Officer, each with a 5% salary increase
Vermont Municipal Employees Retirement System
