Public Relations Intern
Juniper and Berkeley is an all-in sports agency. We build the careers of athletes who see themselves as visionaries. Our clients include Olympians, MVPs, World Champions, and pro athletes turned business leaders.
We are seeking a Public Relations Intern to help secure media coverage for our clients and garner publicity around client initiatives. This is an internship position.
What We Need:
- Familiarity with a variety of media outlets
- Ability to draft clear, concise, and engaging email pitches
- Experience tracking down the contact information of journalists, producers, etc.
- Understanding of a wide range of PR documents, namely media preps, press releases, and PR plans

- Self-starter and very comfortable taking initiative
- Adaptable to a dynamic work environment
- Resourceful and works well under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Friendly and personable, comfortable communicating with our clients as well as media personnel
Qualifications and Experience:
- B.A. completed/in process of completion or equivalent experience
- Interest in media and/or the sports industry, specifically in supporting female athletes
