Software Developer Intern
 
Summary of Position
The Software Developer Intern works on assigned technology projects over the summer (May-August). This is a nonexempt position to be located in Sioux Falls, SD or Chamberlain, SD (candidate has choice of work location).


Accountability

Reports to the Director of IT


Responsibilities

  • Continue to hone technology skills including Visual Studio, C#, SQL Server, SSMS, SQL Reporting Services along with MS Office in a windows environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members and assigned mentor with professionalism and respect.
  • Design, develop, test and document assigned applications.
  • Complete all assigned tasks by established deadlines.
  • Work independently as well as part of a team to complete assigned tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of IT.

 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of completed study in Computer Science
  • Must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
 

Physical Demands

  • Uses both hands and wrists repetitively for prolonged periods.
  • May be required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
