If you feel equally strong about those sentiments, we encourage you to apply to be a Child Welfare Quality Improvement Specialist in the Child Welfare Program. A Quality Improvement Specialist works alongside our child welfare program to support them in delivering strengths-based, client-centered and trauma informed services to families experiencing abuse or neglect. This person will conduct regular reviews of child welfare cases and provide review information to program leadership to ensure continuation of quality service delivery. Child welfare experience is preferred in order to be able to assess service quality. This person should be able to work collaboratively with staff in the child welfare program, possess good organizational skills, have the ability to work on multiple projects at a time, display strong initiative and be self-motivated.
Requirements Include:
- A bachelor's degree in Social Work or another acceptable degree approved by DCFS
- Two years of full time experience in the social work setting
- Must pass DCFS background check
- Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, clean driving record, and three years of driving experience
