Job Description
The Human Resources Recruiting Intern position is designed to enhance a student’s working knowledge of Human Resources activities and talent management. The Intern is responsible for providing support to various projects within Human Resources and the Recruiting Department as assigned, while learning hands on and developing skills towards a productive career in Human Resources. This position also involves a significant use of Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Support the Talent team in managing Everdry Waterproofing Illinois end-to-end recruitment process for our Chicago and Bloomington Locations.
  • Provide job ad administration* Perform candidate sourcing and screening through tools such as Indeed, Handshake, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Assist with general maintenance and New Hire process of employees and candidates in Applicant Tracking System, HRIS System, and compliance screening systems.
  • Build and develop partnerships with internal and external customers through the hire and onboarding process
  • Performs research and develops workable solutions to assigned projects and tasks related to the HR function.
  • Maintain relationships with school and community organizations and provide recommendations for future partnerships
  • Tracks and reports progress against stated deliverables and deadlines
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other department members as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis in excel
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written* Professional attitude, motivation, integrity and the ability to handle confidential information* Willingness to support company philosophies and concepts

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
