High School English Language Arts Teacher

Monte Vista School District is accepting applications for an anticipated opening for a HS English Language Arts Teacher.

Desired qualifications and experience include:

·        Current Colorado Teaching License

·        Knowledge of best practices in reading and writing instruction

·        Experience teaching students of varying abilities

·        Collaborative approach to lesson design and problem solving

·        Ability to work well with others

·        Self-motivated

·        Organized, yet flexible

·        Willingness to sponsor/coach extracurricular activities
