One of our most successful early career programs is our College Connect program, a 2-year development program for entry level professionals who have a strong desire for a career in enterprise or technical sales.
The College Connect team is currently taking submissions of interest for our July 2021 College Connect – Sales Academy class. Apply here to submit your interest and we will notify you when the official application process opens. The team will keep in contact with those who submit their interest, inviting you to the next stage of consideration which will start in early February 2021 with the official application and a video interview process. What is the Sales Academy Experience?
Starting with 12 weeks of immersive training targeted at connecting you with our brand and our solution-based portfolio, Sales Academy gives you all the tools you need to be successful on our Sales team!
Start and Grow Your Sales Career with Lumen
Sales Track
· Work directly with our customers —small, medium, enterprise, global, and government accounts— in an inside or outside sales role in one of our major U.S. markets.
· Learn to leverage Lumen brand facts and solution-based product portfolio to grow revenue and achieve sales.
· Execute a selling strategy through prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, and account management.
· Capitalize on the client partnership to confidently present a solution addressing the client’s needs.
· Build effective long-term strategic partnership with clients leveraging internal resources to drive success.

What We Look for:
· Bachelor’s Degree in business; focusing on sales, marketing, or another business-related field.
· New or recent graduate; with 0-2 years of experience
· Ambition to thrive in a fast paced, complex environment.
· Ability to commit to attend 12 weeks of training and development uninterrupted (July – October 2021)
· Strong leadership and oral/written communication skills
· Ability to adapt and demonstrate resilience.
· Authorization to work in the U.S. required, sponsorship not available for this position.
