Remote Marketing Intern

Acts Of Kindness Cabaret (AOKC) is a performing arts nonprofit that serves other nonprofits. This is a REMOTE MARKETING INTERNSHIP aiding AOKC in marketing to Chicago-area nonprofits. Our ideal situation would be to offer you as much professional growth and experience as possible while you take on projects and tasks vital to move our organization forward.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who would like to work with us through the end of the calendar year or the 2021-22 school year.

Job will include:
  • Online research and data entry;
  • Reaching out to nonprofit organizations both in a research and sale capacity; and
  • Working with the Founder/Director on developing marketing strategies.

This requires working 3-6 hours per week, at least 2 of which must be during normal business hours.

Job can include:
  • Working with AOKC social media team to develop content, interact with followers, and help build followings on Instagram, Facebook, and Linked In.
  • Working with Development and Artistic Directors to develop marketing strategies and help carry them out.

This would require extra time but would offer many more opportunities for professional growth .

Candidates must:
  • Have excellent phone manner and be well spoken;
  • Be able to work independently with limited supervision; and
  • Have a genuine interest in learning.
