Research Associate – Genomics & Neuroscience

The laboratory of Dr. Gilad Evrony at NYU School of Medicine is dedicated to understanding the mechanisms by which the genome builds the brain and to identifying the molecular–genetic defects underlying brain tumors and neuropsychiatric diseases whose causes are not known.

The lab is focused on creating foundational new technologies for genomics and neuroscience in order to answer these questions, especially single-cell genomics technologies.

This position will be responsible for conducting independent basic research conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Evrony and senior laboratory scientists. This position is suitable for building a portfolio of research accomplishments in preparation for applying to medical or graduate school.

Requirements: To qualify you must be a College graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or Physical Sciences. A minimum commitment of two years is required.
