Marketing Intern (Unpaid)
We are seeking a self-motivated intern who will be a key contributor to the marketing and branding of Equiva Partners, an IT Consulting Company. If you are in the Columbus, Ohio area, have excellent communication skills, are highly organized and ready to contribute to a variety of projects, we want to hear from you! While this internship is unpaid, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and course credit for your college or university.
*This opportunity will be remote, however, we may occasionally meet at our office space adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines per the CDC.*
Responsibilities:
- Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn)
- Develop compelling and engaging content to post on social media platforms
- Create weekly content calendar for social media posts
- Assess social media metrics to strategically post content
- Monitor social media trends and updates/changes
- Increase social media followers and following – research organizations/groups, advertisers/potential investors, and individuals that align with Equiva Partners programs, services, mission and values
- Efficiently respond to post engagements
- Creatively brainstorm ways to improve and expand social media platforms
- Assist with live streams on social media for events
- Assist with developing and managing Equiva Partners social media accounts
Requirements:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or public relations
- Knowledgeable in the use of various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Understanding of social media metrics and strategic content placement
- Excellent writing, proofreading, editing skills, and detailed oriented
- Access to computer/laptop and mobile device with unlimited Internet
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
