Global Web Producer Summer Intern

KEEN is offering college students a completely virtual opportunity to experience and be embedded into the brand by offering a 10-week paid summer (June - August) internship.
We’re eagerly looking for students who seek innovative solutions, have a strong passion for creating their own opportunities, enjoy playing outside, and spend time caring for the world around them.
Our KEENtern program provides students relevant and valuable hands-on work experience. This program includes:

Program Requirements
  • Be a Junior, Senior, or Grad student
  • Eligible to work in the US and reside in the following states: AL, CA, CO, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, OH, OR, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, VT, WA, WI - we are set up for payroll in these states only
  • Must be able to dedicate 40 hours/week toward the internship during normal M-F working hours; our office and the majority of our staff work in Pacific Standard Time
General Summary
In the DTC (Direct-To-Consumer) Department, the keenfootwear.com eCommerce site provides a high level of exposure to strategic brand initiatives and is a key priority in the brand’s digital first approach. The Global Web Producer Intern assists in and gains exposure to the day-to-day activities relating to digital site content and campaign execution on a global scale. This role reports to the Global Web Producer.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Supports the coordination of weekly updates in web production for all aspects of the site including navigation, product and category content, and campaign promotions
  • Manages multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ensures on-spec, on-time deliveries with translations when applicable 
  • Attends weekly video meetings with global eComm leads to understand their pain points, needs and content goals and the effects of global culture on different products and campaigns
  • Assists in creating the weekly global status report
  • Meets with cross functional teammates to gain holistic view of digital DTC: Merchandising, Promotions, UX, Analytics, Creative, Development, Email, Digital Marketing, Blog, photography
  • Uses and gains visibility to a variety of the technology stack used at KEEN: JIRA, Confluence, Sales Force Commerce Cloud, Page Designer
  • Create/maintain documentation on Page Designer and other new features
  • Completes projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or degree pursuit in one of the following Marketing, Data Analytics/Science, eCommerce, Computer Science, Digital Media 
  • Basic knowledge of eCommerce
  • Must be enrolled an accredited college or university at the Junior, Senior, or Graduate level
  • Must be able to dedicate 40 hours/week toward the internship during normal M-F PST working hours
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to learn new software programs
  • Ability to solve problems with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and on tight deadlines
  • Able to sit and/or stand at a desk and use a computer for extended periods of time
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Can work independently and on a deadline
