Photographer Summer Intern

The Telegraph Herald, a daily newspaper with a circulation of 25,000 in Dubuque, Iowa, seeks talented interns to join our news team. Be a part of a hard-working, aggressive newsroom aiming to produce the best newspaper in the state, both in print and online.

Our interns get a real taste of the business. You won’t be fetching coffee or making copies – you will have a chance to play an active role in our news organization. And at the end of the summer, you will have an abundance of experience and a full collection of work to show future employers. Internships typically start in May and run 10 to 12 weeks (but we make sure it’s always long enough for you to meet your college’s requirements, if there are any). These are paid, full-time internships.

We’re located in a bustling city of 58,000 on the banks of the Mississippi River. Dubuque was named to Kiplinger’s Personal Finance’s list of 10 Great Places to Live for 2013. The city offers after-work opportunities ranging from a vibrant arts scene to a variety of nightlife options to an abundance of outdoor recreation possibilities. (Learn more at
