Data Analytics Intern (Summer 2021)
HNI Corporation, an industry leader in workplace furnishings and building products, is in search of a Data Analytics Intern to join our team in Muscatine, IA!
As a Data Analytics intern, you will help drive strategic initiatives across the enterprise by your involvement in a variety of projects related to Data Management, Analytics, and Sales and Operations Planning.
As part of a large, paid internship program, perks of this position include exposure to leadership, networking opportunities through Lunch and Learns, support through a manager and mentor relationship, volunteering and social events, and skills training!
Interns may have focused experience in the following areas:
- Data management
- Integrating external and internal data sets to utilize in analytical projects
- Sales and operations
- Business and competitor analysis
- Planning and budgeting
- Management reporting
Skills and Qualifications:
- Junior level coursework with an emphasis in Data Analytics/Finance
- Minimum 2.8 GPA
- Relevant work experience/internships/related activities (tutor, business fraternity, etc.) preferred.
- Strong computer aptitude
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel application
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Self-starter; strong personal motivation; willing to take initiative
