Flower Crew Tech I - Seasonal

Are you a student coming home for the summer near West Chicago, IL? Do you enjoy plants, horticulture, flowers, working outside, gardening or being in nature? Join our seasonal Flower Crew for a full time summer position!

Help color the world by joining our seasonal landscaping crew who assist installing our high-end planting beds. This position will start Mid April/May for the summer season. 

• Installing flower beds that will result in meticulously designed flower beds with annuals, perennials and vegetables.

• Plant maintenance and care to ensure plant displays remain in showcase quality throughout the entire season.

• Participate in weekend and overtime schedules to keep plants healthy all week long.

• Having previous outdoor work in a garden type setting is preferred

• Currently pursuing or have obtained a horticulture degree preferred

• Ability to plant ID

• Eager to learn about landscaping and specifically installation of high-profile flower beds

This position requires that the candidate is able to work under a variety of environmental conditions including heat, humidity and rain for prolonged periods of time, as well as lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor. The hours of the position are 7am to 3:30am.
