Hydrographer Internship

Interns will work a variety of roles during their time on a project site. Position responsibilities include; tracking project progress on a daily basis, operational management of daily project activities, submittal preparation & review, RFIs oversight & coordination of subcontractors, and oversight of various project specific field engineering requirements. Duties could also include assisting with assembling project bids and change orders. This will include quantity take-offs, subcontractor coordination, procurement of pricing, and proposal creation and assembly. Coops / Interns will work closely with field staff to adjust schedules and to work approaches to accomplish project goals. Additional duties will also include participating in safety related tasks.

This position could be a track position for future project managers.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

  •  Current college or university enrollment, recent graduate looking for seasonal experience
  •  Travel will be a requirement that well be presented to most interns. Project locations typically around the upper mid-west, United States should be expected.
  •  Coops / Interns must be willing to work 12+ hours/day, nights and weekends depending on project schedules. Again, flexibility is key.
  • Ability to perform long hours of field work in varied weather conditions.
