Staff Accountant

Career Opportunity with Iowa Medium-Sized CPA Firm
Office location is flexible - the candidate needs to be within commuting distance to one of our corridor locations (Cedar Rapids, Iowa City or Tipton). Minimal travel between offices may be required.

What do we need?
A staff accountant with at least three (3) years of accounting experience to join our firm.

Are you qualified?
Are you self-motivated, thrive in a team environment, display excellent written and oral communication skills? Can you deliver a timely, accurate, and professional work product, as well as enjoy developing relationships with your co-workers, clients, and community? If so, read on.
Do you enjoy providing our clients with tax and accounting services including income tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses, compilation, review, payroll, and other accounting services?
Successful candidates require an Associate's degree in accounting or have the equivalent in work experience. CPA certificate or candidates for the CPA exam are preferred but not required. Quick Books and/or Ultra Tax experience a plus. Compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with experience & education.

The depth and breadth of work along with the educational and other support provided by the Firm will yield an optimal environment for continued professional growth.
Production agriculture is LattaHarris’ industry niche.
