Early Career Management Consultant

This is an early career position that is full of opportunity in our rapidly expanding Business Consulting practice. As an early career consultant, you will have access to incredible on-the-job learning experiences. You will work collaboratively as part of a client-facing team to deliver tangible value and help your client meet its business objectives. You will regularly interact with and learn from more experienced team members in roles related to project management and business analysis. Our client base and expertise span strategic industries which include financial services, insurance, life sciences, healthcare, consumer and retail, manufacturing and transportation, communications and media, and the public sector. With our clients located across the U.S. - flexibility regarding work travel is required. Roles will be based in our regional hub cities of New York, Charlotte, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta and Dallas.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist project team in defining client’s business problem and solution development
Conduct market research, interviews with stakeholders, and/or other project management and business analysis tasks
Contribute to client deliverables and project routines
Establish relationships with client at the appropriate levels, gain understanding of work and problems encountered
Use good judgment in communicating with clients
 
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
2+ year(s) of experience in a Management Consulting firm (Big 4 preferred)
1+ year(s) of experience using tools in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Flexibility and willingness to travel, potentially 75%
 
Preferences
1+ year(s) of experience supporting enterprise-wide projects in industry areas such as Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, and Public Sector
Experience working on projects that require problem-solving and analytical skills; proven ability to break down complex problems and develop solutions
Customer focus that results in delivering high-quality service and client satisfaction
Innovative thinking, resourcefulness, and agility achieved by leveraging best practices and creativity to get things done
High EQ team player who knows how to influence and partner by building strong relationships with leaders, peers, and clients
