HR and Recruiting Specialist
Location: New Haven, CT or Remote
Job Description:
The HR and Recruiting Specialist will report directly to the CEO and will be instrumental in managing the talent acquisition process for full-time and part-time roles and for further developing the HR department. If you are eager to grow in your HR and Recruiting career, this is the job for you!
Job Responsibilities:
● Manage the team of remote Recruiting Assistants (sourcers)
● Collaborate with executives and directors to identify hiring needs and the skills and competencies required for openings
● Screen and interview qualified job applicants
● Onboard new employees and contractors, including conducting New Employee Orientation for full-time employees
● Collaborate with the HR and Recruitment Manager in China to hire, onboard, and train employees, establish and enforce policies and procedures, and create a cohesive company culture
● Handle the disciplinary procedures and termination of employees, including the offboarding and exit interview processes
● Handle employee relations and develop creative solutions
● Work closely with leadership to create new polices and initiatives to maintain (and expand!) the positive culture at InGenius Prep
Qualifications:
● Must have experience with full-cycle recruitment
● Experience with onboarding and offboarding
● Experience handling employee relations
● Strong organizational and time-management skills
● Strong interpersonal skills
● Knowledge of contracts and HR policies is a plus
Total Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000
