(Contingent) All - Source Intelligence Analyst – Junior Level

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) seeks all-source Intelligence Analysts with 5 years of relevant strategic intelligence experience, a TS/SCI eligible for NC2 access, to provide situational awareness of adversary threat capabilities across USSTRATCOM’s mission areas including strategic deterrence, nuclear command, control and communications (NC3), joint electronic warfare (EW), global strike, global missile defense, and analysis and targeting. The ideal candidate will support STRATCOM indication and warning efforts, author strategic regional and global joint intelligence preparation of the operational environment (JIPOE) products, and authoring intelligence products for the STRATCOM HQ staff and assigned component commands and the Intelligence Community.

(Contingent) All - Source Intelligence Analyst – Junior Level Required Experience:
  • 6-8 years of demonstrated experience in the following areas:
  • All-source intelligence focused on near-term, mid-term, and long-term analysis to support deliberate and operational planning, JIPOE analysis, and senior leadership support
  • Providing situational awareness of adversary threat capabilities in support of I&W
  • Authoring strategic regional and global JIPOE products to enable planning, and authoring intelligence products for the USSTRATCOM HQ Staff, assigned Component Commands and Task Forces, and the Intelligence Community
  • Preparing, integrating, briefing and publishing broad and complex all-source intelligence studies, papers, briefings, and assessments in coordination with other Agency elements and IC components on adversary regional issues.
  • Providing analytic support for the development, validation, implementation and modification of current and evolving Command and DoD Planning documents requiring insights into foreign strategic forces, policy, intentions and technology
  • Supporting development of intelligence collection requirements and providing feedback and evaluation to IC reporting
  • Target Systems Analysis and target folder development for nuclear, kinetic, and non-kinetic targeting efforts
  • Government furnished databases and software applications maintenance including use of visualization tools (e.g. Excel) to support strategic intelligence analysis
  • IC or DoD Intelligence Agency, Combatant Command or DoD intelligence unit experience with at least 5-8 years working on adversary functions as a civilian intelligence analyst or equivalent academic experience
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Very detailed oriented
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office

(Contingent) All - Source Intelligence Analyst – Junior Level Desired Experience:
  • Proficient with research/analysis tools: Palantir, Analyst Notebook
