SEO Manager

Collective Measures is hiring for a SEO Manager to help lead our thriving SEO practice. The SEO Manager will be responsible for executing SEO projects for our clients, mentoring colleagues and serving as a thought leader in the agency.

 Job Duties:
  • Execute and manage in-depth and/or complex website / search platform evaluations to determine SEO issues and solutions for current or potential clients
  • Utilize best practices to to determine SEO priorities for assigned clients, utilizing keyword research, competitive analyses, technical and content audits, gap analyses, and industry / company / audience research 
  • Identify and execute foundational SEO recommendations based upon data and SEO algorithm updates and current ranking factors
  • Identify internal and external plans and opportunities for assigned clients based on audience behavior, informational versus transactional needs and business goals
  • Serve as the SEO channel lead in planning and presenting deliverables for all assigned client projects
  • Effectively communicate insights and recommendations for SEO best practices to assigned clients
  • Mentor and train junior team members
  • Provide SEO expertise to new business research and opportunities, as requested
  • Contribute to internal and external thought leadership via blogs, POVs, and internal all-agency and team presentations

Educational / Experiential Requirements:
  • Four or more years experience in foundational and technical SEO work with demonstrated results in a digital agency setting
  • Deep understanding of common SEO, search and analytics tools (BrightEdge, Conductor, Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, AdWords, Google Analytics)
  • Deep understanding of Google ranking factors and ongoing algorithm changes
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Self-starter approach to work, a positive attitude, and a drive to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communicator, particularly in written formats, but also demonstrated ability to effectively present to groups.
