IT Intern
Objective: Main responsibilities include maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer and mobile devices, hardware, and software. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to respond in a fast-paced environment, and excellent verbal, writing and interpersonal skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with deploying standard system images for new devices and associated hardware.
- Knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft O365
- Install and maintain workstations, handheld devices, access points, and associated software.
- Assist with system upgrades and technology projects.
- Assist with servers, system backups, LAN/WAN technologies, networks, Wi-Fi technology, and more.
- Assist with custom enterprise code in .Net (VB and C#) platform and SQL Server databases.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities, as necessary.
Education:
- Pursuing a degree in computer science, computer information systems, cyber operations or similar majors preferred.
- Agricultural experience preferred.
Experience: Knowledge of the agriculture industry is a plus.
Work Environment:
Offices located in the Pipestone Veterinary Services office in Pipestone, MN.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit at a desk working on a computer for daily work.
