Job Description
We install creative landscapes that evoke the joy and beauty of nature. Most of the projects we install include natural themed plantings, boulder setting, mulch and dry creeks. Very physically demanding position. Digging holes, ripping out old shrubs and transporting full wheelbarrows. Must be a team player and have a great can-do attitude. We work hard Monday through Friday but respect the weekends. Flexibility for planned days you might need off during the summer. The crew is fun, non-smoking, professional and works well together. We meet daily at 7:30 AM at our shop in South St Paul. Usually we work 8-10 hour days unless it rains. This might be the perfect job for you if you enjoy being outdoors and like to see the end result of a beautiful landscape you helped create. We will start once the snow melts.

The owner, Scott Solomonson has a passion for Japanese style gardens. Over the years, we have helped make improvements to several of the public Japanese Gardens in the Twin City area. Scott has published several essays in the 'Suykia Living, Journal of Japanese Gardening'. Our residential landscape designs are heavily influenced by the natural beauty and artistic craftsmanship found in quality Japanese gardens. Scott works side by side with the crew every day. We try to keep a fun, respectful atmosphere and create a positive experience for our clients. We are lucky to have a long list of happy customers who keep calling us back for more landscape projects. Most of the existing crew has been with Living Space Landscapes for several years. We have a lot of fun landscaping projects to install this year and are looking for the right person to join our crew. Over ½ of our employees are U of MN graduates.
pay starting at $20 per hour.
