Supply Chain Summer Intern

As part of the Supply Chain Internship program, you will be pushed to learn and grow. In addition to your day-to-day growth, you will also be encouraged to participate in workshops where you will hone your professional skills while in a fun and inclusive environment.
Throughout your internship, you will have the ability to learn and gain experience in 3PL, Materials (Specific to Telecommunications) and Demand Planning. As part of our supply chain internship program, you must be willing to work hard, learn quickly, dream big, and tackle challenges to build a strong foundation to start your career.
What You’ll Do:
  • Learn and apply the principles of forecasting, scheduling, and maintaining lead times of material
  • Grow lasting relationships with senior management and non-technical/operations managers
  • Create and enter sales orders
  • Creating pick sheets for local distribution centers
  • Research and analyze orders and schedules to provide procurement reports
  • Assist our nationwide team in the development and management of enterprise-wide sourcing and supply chain strategies
  • Periodic air travel may be required

The Qualities You Possess:
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinker that can both analyze and summarize information for management
  • Ability to work autonomously with a heavy workload and meet deadlines
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships

The Skills and Background You’ll Bring:
  • Supply Chain Management major is preferred; similar majors also considered 
  • Entering your junior or senior year is preferred
  • A desire to learn and grow
