Newspaper designer
The Jefferson City News Tribune is seeking to hire a designer, who would be responsible for copy editing stories and designing pages for our news editions of the News Tribune, Fulton Sun and California Democrat.
The candidate, who would join a five-member design desk, must have a command of AP style, an ability to edit local and wire stories, write accurate and compelling headlines, and have a solid background in designing newspaper pages. Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop a must. We're looking for someone with a journalism degree or two to five years of experience in a newsroom.
