Job Description:
Internship opportunity to work within SRI Atomic Molecular Optics (AMO) group at SRI’s Princeton NJ campus. Candidate projects and experiences will focus on developing tabletop-based, atom-laser systems used for field sensing. In particular, the projects may include contributing to laser and optics alignment, RF equipment operation, and data acquisition. The internship will involve working closely with SRI staff, providing hands-on exposure to state-of-the-art AMO physics concepts and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Physics track or equivalent, course work in modern physics, optics and associated lab experience preferred.
- Candidate should have some experience in instrumentation, test-and-measurement equipment, and coding experience.
- US citizenship required
