NaviSavi is a short-form video app for travel. From an interactive feed, users can explore destinations, plan itineraries, and book their next trip all in one place. All clips are verified, unedited, and submitted by real people to offer an authentic experience.
The Head of Video & Content Intern will lead a production team to ensure all content creation and publishing processes align with company values. Candidates should be knowledgeable and have experience in video production or brand marketing. This role will work closely with marketing teams to monitor video submissions and other content materials.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide guidance for production teams.
- Monitor all video content and incoming submissions from the community.
- Develop and improve processes for video production, approval, and publishing.
- Set and achieve department goals based on past data, activity, and insights.
- Create brand reels for investment opportunities and marketing purposes.
- Create and manage video content for omni-channels like YouTube, Vimeo, etc.
- Organize and archive all content using Dropbox, Google Drive, and Contentful.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience and background in shooting, editing, animating, etc.
- Knowledgeable and passionate about the travel/tourism industry
- Extremely organized with high attention to detail; deadline-oriented
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects, iMovie, or similar video production/content creation software preferred
- Graphic design experience preferred
Objectives:
- Create, approve, and monitor video content for a growing travel brand.
- Develop a sense for appropriate content in regards to a changing market landscape.
- Provide experience in preparation for a career in content creation and production.
Other details:
- Mentorship opportunity with company CEO and industry professionals.
- Internship Dates: 05/15/2021 - 08/15/2021, with a possibility of rolling into the Fall semester of 2021.
- Must be available to commit 10-20 hours per week.
- Must be legally able to work in the U.S.
- Course credit available for students.
