Broadcast Journalism Internship (Remote/Global) (Summer 2021)

Dim Events, LLC is looking to teach interns how to create their own brand to host events, interview local celebrities, build campaigns/concepts, and assist with cohesive storytelling. During your internship period, we put together a mini agency where interns from different programs have the ability to come together to work on client projects, research/strategize, and brainstorm ideas to build the client’s brand. If you are the type of person who has an interest in being in front of the camera interviewing/storytelling for other brands, breaking stories or creating unique ideas as a host. (If you are trying to interview politicians, entertainment people, etc. this internship might be for you) 

Responsibilities & Duties: 
Job duties would include, but not be limited to:
  • Assisting with organizing media relations with those attending events
  • Create interview flows to capture accurate stories 
  • Maintaining e-mails
  • Responding to and following up with people
  • Develop an influencer list/relationship
  • Research and find different trends in content/Interview spaces
  • Build your brand by marketing yourself through the content you are creating 
  • Writing up one pagers and marketing plans for storytelling/how it fits into the brand 
 
QUALIFICATIONS WE'D LOVE YOU TO HAVE:
  • Student of life or college student (You do not need to be in college to be eligible)

  • 0-2 years of BCJ experience
