Special Education Teacher-Deaf & Hearing Impaired
This position requires subject matter expertise in hearing and communication disabilities
and the ability to communicate through oral, written and signed language (ASL). In
addition, the position must be able to implement techniques and strategies for deaf and
hard of hearing service programs for students age 0 to 5 years and students in
Kindergarten through 12th grade. The Special Education Teacher-Deaf and Hearing
Impaired is required to conduct screenings, present data and information at IEP meetings
and work collaboratively with parents and staff members.
