Intern -Pharmaceutical - Clinical Research - Analytics

Symphony Health is looking to place talented students in an exciting and fast paced summer internship program! 
 
Through this internship, students will have the opportunity to gain invaluable exposure to payer and pharmaceutical clients, hands on market research experience, and mentoring at a healthcare industry leader in data analytics and technology solutions. 
 
What will you be doing? 
 
Meeting at the intersection of business and technology, the Intern will support our PHORCE Consulting Team including  Commercial Effectiveness, Patient Analytics, Commercial, Payer and Brand, and Market Insights and Analytics. Utilizing your excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and your demonstrated experience conducting concise and thorough research, you will help the team draw powerful insights for clients
  
Some additional responsibilities may include: 
·      Conducts research to support sales and analytical project delivery for pharmaceutical clients
·      Analyzes healthcare and other data to support the development of client insight presentations
·      Prepares project documentation and reports as needed
·      Provides research and support for internal or product development projects
·      Creates presentations for internal and external clients
 
What do you need to have? 
  
·             0 – 2 Years of related experience 
·             Knowledge of the US Healthcare system and / or a variety of disease states preferred
·             Bachelor’s or Advanced degree or equivalent required, preferably in Health Sciences (Public Health, Pre-Med, Epidemiology, Pharmacy), Social Sciences (Economics, Psychology)
·             Extensive experience with Microsoft Suite
·             Excellent ability to conduct research and to succinctly summarize findings
·             Power user of Excel and/or PowerPoint
·             Ability to work within a group and take direction from others
·             Good organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to      detail 
·             Good communication and interpersonal skills 
·             Read, write and speak English fluently 
·             Availability to work full time 
  
Internship Details 
Start Date: June 1st or after 
Duration: 10 weeks in length 
Pay Rate: $17/hour 
Location: Remote
