Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the leadership of the Data Analytics function by creating SQL queries to extract data for analysis, developing and maintaining custom reports and dashboards, and identifying / analyzing / interpreting trends or patterns in complex datasets.
 
 Junior Data Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support leadership of the Data Analytics function at Feldco
  • Create and maintain custom reports using Feldco proprietary data to help departments and managers monitor KPIs and better understand business performance
  • Manage and manipulate datasets to streamline processes across departments
  • Perform cleansing and testing of datasets to ensure accuracy of analyses
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions
  • Strive for excellence in relation to Feldco’s Keys to Success: Customer Delight, Professionalism, Teamwork, Productivity and Accountability
 Junior Data Analyst Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, engineering, or similar quantitative field
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large datasets and relational databases
  • Expert at building reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience in writing SQL queries to extract data
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VBA preferred)
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • An analytical mind and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
