Collaborate with the Startup Innovation team and deep dive in F&A innovation
F&A Startup Innovation
The F&A Startup Innovation team is responsible for managing and driving growth of all food & ag startup related innovation efforts that align back to Rabobank’s business strategy. Rabobank’s capabilities relate to the FoodBytes! platform that offers several products for clients: (1) PITCH – a series of competitive start-up pitch events and networking forums for startups, corporates and investors, hosted globally; (2) PILOT – our commercial-pilot focused startup and corporate collaborator program; and (3) our proprietary Digital Offering that is being developed.
Tasks within the assignment:
You will work as a team player to support in all facets of the Startup Innovation team’s strategy for the broader NA business strategy in WBNA and other regional entities to serve client with our innovation offering.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Gain better understanding of innovation in the F&A space by sourcing and screening cutting edge startups, and translate these insights for the benefit of Rabobank.
- Learn how to match startups to the innovation ambitions of corporate clients and synthesize industry activity to highlight trends and developments based on our proprietary data.
- Involved in preparing for Programming of FoodBytes! 2021 PITCH event calendar such as member roundtables and evolving our PILOT offering
- Assist with corporate client engagement to execute and originate partnerships for the innovation platform by preparing Member profiles, customized proposals for (non)client presentations
- Assisting startup relationship management to develop continuous value add for startups to stay engaged with Rabobank, such as marketing opportunities, relevant client engagements, liaise with investors and Rabobank’s Equity Private Placements offering

What are the must haves and nice to haves for the intern.
Active college/university student, fluent in English, strong Excel and data skills, able to work independently, creative, strategic and commercial thinker, affinity with startups and innovation and analytical mind to translate strategy into clear concepts for communication to clients.
