Speech Language Pathologist

21st Century Rehab, PC is a therapist owned company that specializes in physical, occupational and speech therapy. We currently serve 13 communities in Central Iowa. We provide services to home health agencies, hospitals, long-term care facilities and outpatient clinics. We are dedicated to providing excellent patient care. Our ideology is t o create an employee that is happy, healthy, content, challenged and loves what they do and feels properly rewarded so that they always put their best foot forward.

SETTING:

Outpatient and Inpatient in a hospital setting

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and tests to determine physical therapy treatment plan
  • Determines appropriate discharge management and follow-up
  • Participates in supervisory relationships; maintains a high standard of professional accountability with respect to safety, efficiency, effectiveness, ethics and legal issues.
  • Daily paperwork
  • Demonstrates appropriate and effective written, verbal and non-verbal communication with patients and their families, medical staff, colleagues and the public; participates effectively as a team member in discharge planning and patient care conferences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A graduate of an accredited school  
  • Current Iowa license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP. New grads are welcome to apply
  • Valid driver's license
