Position Overview
Chemorse is seeking a chemist/technician to assist our Technical Services Manager in the development of tank mix adjuvants, emulsifier packages, feed additives, and perform quality control functions at our headquarters in Des Moines. This position will become full-time with a competitive benefit package after the 90-day probation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Product Development (40%)
·       Investigate new technologies for viability.
·       Offset competitive products.
·       Modify/improve existing products to meet customer expectations.
Other Duties as Assigned (30%)
·       Assist Technical Service Manager with Research & Development.
·       Liaison with production team and executive team for QC.
 Quality Control (20%)
·       QC production batches.
·       QC incoming raw materials (as necessary).
·       Log retains and maintain records.
·       Modify/improve existing products to meet customer expectations.
 Raw Material Evaluations (10%)
·       Actively pursue alternate sourcing.
·       Evaluate for performance, stability, etc.
What the Chemist/Technician position requires:
·       Prior experience with performing quality control and/or product development preferred
·       Excellent written and oral communication skills.
·       A minimum 2.5 GPA with a high level of passion for this field.
·       A Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate with an accredited college or university.
·       Experience with Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Power Point.
·       Prior knowledge of tank mix adjuvants and/or emulsifier packages is a plus.
