Organizational Development Business Partner/Change Management Specialist

Description:
The Organization Development Business Partner is responsible for developing and leading change management strategies throughout the enterprise that minimize employee resistance and maximize user adoption of Froedtert Health strategic priority projects. This role will focus on the people side of change for the strategic projects including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organization structures. This role will interact with the leader development and engagement teams, collaborating and supporting as necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
• Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management deliverables, including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, risk mitigation, and resistance management plan using a defined set of tools, templates and processes.
• Integrate change management and project management plans to derive maximum benefit from change management activities.
• Identify resistance, risks and performance gaps-- and develop and implement corrective actions.
• Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.

Implementation
• Collaborate with communication, learning, OD, and HR teams to support project implementation.
• Manage stakeholders

Assessment & Evaluation 
• Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy to understand manner.
• Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and engage key stakeholders to access outcomes.
• Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of changes.
• Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
• Identify and manage anticipated resistance
• Evaluate and ensure user readiness
• Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

Coaching
• Influence and coach leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. 
• Provide guidance to all levels of leaders as they help their direct reports through the change and transitions. 
• Consult and coach project team members, including project manager, communications lead, IT project manager, and other project team members
• Provide consistent change project updates with project sponsors and other key leaders on the progress of the project vis-a-vis the work plan.

Education and Support
• Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
• Coordinate efforts with other specialists

Other duties as assigned
Skills and Knowledge required: 

• 5+ years related industry experience leading large-scale, complex change projects
• 5+ years experience in a complex multi-site, intermediate to large size organization (7,000 to 15,000 FTE’s).  
• Articulated knowledge of how people transition through change and key components of a change process

Other preferred relevant skills:
• Knowledge of organization development principles
• Demonstrated skills and experience leading, influencing, and coaching at all levels.
• Ability to work with general direction to scope, plan and manage cross-department, multi-department and multi-site projects.  
• Demonstrated application of Neuroscience methodology to change projects
• Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
• Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into easy-to-understand messages
• Healthcare experience useful.  

Education (required): 
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Organization Development, Business, Project Management or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.  

Certification:  
Certification in assessment tool administration, change management certification or designation desired.
