JTEO Test & Evaluation Engineer

JTEO TEST & EVALUATION ENGINEER

Seeking technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems.
The Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Air Force's Space and Missiles System Center (SMC) and support the Air Force's acquisition of state-of-the-art systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation's warfighters.

Responsibilities:
  • Collecting, reviewing, analyzing, and reporting T&E data
  • Reviewing test plans and procedures and identifying gaps
  • Developing test plans, detailed test procedures, and report
  • Preparing/ presenting briefings at senior management meetings
  • Supporting ITT, Test Plan Working Groups

Required:
  • BA/ BS degree
  • Python proficient
  • JavaScript proficient
  • Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral & written), and presentation skills
  • Capable in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 10+ years demonstrated experience in satellite terminal requirement verification
  • 10+ years test and evaluation experience with DoD/ USAF test processes and documentation
  • 5+ Data analysis/ data collection
  • Must have the ability to obtain Secret clearance!

Heavily Preferred:
  • BS degree in engineering, math, or physics
  • Professional certifications (INCOSE, CISSP, IEEE)
  • Experience with government test and evaluation, Space and Missile Center; MILSATCOM, and Joint Interoperability Test Command
  • Ability to learn new satellite communications systems
  • Experience/ knowledge with ICDs
  • 5+ years' experience in DoD SATCOM
  • 5+ years' experience with ground systems, such as terminals and networks

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance is required.
This is a full-time, fully-funded position located in Colorado Springs, CO.
