Business Unit Analyst

Description
The Business Unit Analyst will support business unit with financial, marketing and forecasting support as part of the NFW finance team.

Job Functions:
  • Assist with business activities including pricing analysis
  • Provide accurate forecasting for business unit as part of overall NFW forecast cycle
  • Build product line P&L and margin analysis
  • Plan and track business unit CapEx including business case development
  • Become business unit ERP “expert” and provide interface from business unit to NFW ERP system, reporting and backup.
  • As part of the NFW Finance team, provide coverage and backup support to other business units and NFW Controller in accounting, reporting and auditing processes.

Requirements
Education/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Management preferred.

Competency Requirements
  • Ability to effectively present information to management and finance team.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common financial reports, insurance and legal documents.
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

Work Environment
  • Primarily operates in office and manufacturing environments.
  • Some of the work is performed in a shop environment where it may be loud, dusty, hot or cold.
  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Occasionally required to use personal protective equipment.
  • Up to 30% of time will be spent traveling.
