Kaleidoscope Staffing Solutions is now hiring for exceptional CNA's & CMA's within Western Home Communities! This is a great option for a CNA or CMA to experience a range of opportunities including Assisted Living, Long Term Care, Skilled and Dementia Specific. This position will require you to be flexible with your schedule including the requirement to be available for all shifts, depending on the staffing needs of the buildings within the community.

STARTING WAGES:
- CNA: $17.00/HOUR
- CMA: $18.00/HOUR
DUTIES:
CNA: Perform resident care duties under the direction of Kaleidoscope Staffing Solutions. Assists with the operations of the nursing department; running errands, assisting in maintaining a clean environment. Provide assistance with daily living needs including personal cares, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands and other miscellaneous duties as assigned and required to fulfill requirements. Successful functioning in this position contributes directly to the overall Western Home mission of providing the best possible care for residents.
CMA: Perform resident care duties under the direction of Kaleidoscope Staffing Solutions. Dispense medication according to the physician’s orders, perform medication aide duties and supervision/training of residents. Assists with the operations of the Nursing Department; running errands and assisting in maintaining a clean environment. Provide assistance with daily living needs including personal cares, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands and other miscellaneous duties as assigned, and required to fulfill requirements. Successful functioning in this position contributes directly to the overall Western Home mission of providing the best possible care for residents.
REQUIREMENTS:
Certified Nursing Aide: Must be certified by the State of Iowa as a nurse aide.
Certified Medication Aide: Must be certified by the State of Iowa as a nurse aide. Must be certified by the State of Iowa as a Certified Medication Aide.
All: Must have prior experience working with the elderly. Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain. Exceptional attendance and punctuality is required for this position. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed. Must be able to travel on little to no notice including in incremental weather with varying hours, as needed. Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule. Must be willing and able to go to all assigned facilities, as needed. Must have the ability to change from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure. This individual is required to demonstrate effective communication skills with clients, their families as well as the KSS staff. This employee must be able to provide their own transportation.
